that the new X-Files movie would be any good...and it was! I think it was actually better than the first movie. There was more story to this movie and fewer action scenes. But maybe I was just so excited to see Scully and Mulder again that if it had been an absolutely horrible movie, I still would have loved it. I don't know. I guess I'll have to go see it again, you know, just so I can be objective about it!
In other movie news, I also saw Mamma Mia with the husband before he left, and it was a lot of fun. And of course I got to look at Pierce Brosnan for an entire movie, so that was a nice bonus. And I got to sing ABBA music through the whole movie as well! In fact, after seeing Mamma Mia, I started singing "Mamma Mia" a lot. I sang it so much that Sunday during church Daniel, while holding the hymn book, asked where "Mamma Mia" was and he wanted to sing that instead of whatever we were singing at the same time!

So, you LOVE x-files but didn't like the new Indiana Jones movie because it was about aliens????
And why isn't Mama Mia in the hymn book?
X-Files is supposed to be about aliens! (Although it actually isn't about aliens in this movie.) And I personally think David Duchovny is better looking than Harrison Ford (there, I've said it; please don't stone me!).
I guess you'll have to talk to the General Authorities about why there aren't any ABBA songs in the hymn book.
I haven't seen either movies. But Mama Mia sounds really good. I wasn't much into x-files so I don't mind if I see that one or not. And I agree with you that david duchovny is better looking that harrison ford.
I am so jealous of you getting to go to a party tonight for "Breaking Dawn". My copy I pre-ordered was canceled by walmart. I am not very happy about it, and the closest walmart is an hour away.They are putting theirs out at 12 tonight, but they only got 96 copies in, and they said they have had many, many calls on it. So I don't really want to drive that far at night for an off chance of getting one. But I have considered it, really considered it. And am still debating inside my head. Though I know I probably won't go. Sorry that was long and you probably don't really care. Anyway.... Have fun tonight for me!
